List of Online Colleges in Mississippi

Finding an online college can be a daunting task. Online colleges and degree programs are becoming increasingly prevalent because of the convenience and flexibility of attending online classes. Online degree programs allow students who would otherwise not be able to attend class and obtain their degree. The state of Mississippi offers students a number of online degree options.
  1. University of Mississippi

    • The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) is one of the oldest and largest universities in the state of Mississippi. Ole Miss is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The university is also a member of the Southern Regional Education Board, an organization that allows out-of-state students the opportunity to pursue degrees at institutions for about or the same cost as resident students. This increases the likelihood that nonresident students can find degree programs online for their intended program of study. Ole Miss offers semester-based courses, self-paced courses and a professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The school currently offers online courses through the schools of applied sciences, business, education, engineering and liberal arts.
