Universities With Online Doctoral Programs

Whether you've recently completed your master's degree or have been working since earning your master's and want to return to school, the next step may be to earn a doctorate. Doctoral degrees, or PhDs, build on the master-level course work you've completed, while requiring you to complete intensive research papers or projects. If you prefer to learn online, you'll find doctoral degrees from both online-only schools and standard colleges with distance-learning departments. While earning your PhD online, you'll interact with professors through online forums, submit assignments through email and complete homework and research projects at your own pace.
