Located in Pensacola, the University of West Florida offers online master's degrees in more than 25 fields. Graduate students can earn degrees in business administration, computer science, curriculum and instruction, education, math and public health, among others. Tuition rates for out-of-state students are comparable to what Florida residents pay. UWF also partners with other colleges in the state in the Distance Learning Consortium, which allows students to pursue the degree program of their choice at any member school that offers it.

Florida International University has made a substantial commitment to online education, assigning regular faculty members to oversee its online graduate courses. The university offers online advising and tutoring services to all of its students and assigns an academic coach to each distance learner. The school also has strengthened its technological support systems. Online students can earn master's degrees in business administration, public health, construction management, criminal justice and occupational therapy. Students have access to teachers and fellow classmates through discussion boards, chats and email.
