Canyon College provides an online master’s degree program in forensic psychology. Students will receive their instruction entirely online, and are required to complete 36 credit hours in order to qualify for a master’s degree. All students must maintain a grade point average of 2.5. Prospective applicants should already have a bachelor’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences. Course highlights include introduction to forensic psychology, psychology of criminal behavior, addiction intervention and treatment, and crisis counseling and brief therapy.

Prospective students can enroll either in an online program or attend traditional classes. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The master’s program in forensic psychology is especially ideal for working professionals who are already employed in the fields of law enforcement, corrections, victim assistance or social services.
