The Bachelor of Science nursing pre-licensure program at WGU will provide students with a comprehensive background in nursing theory and clinical practice. The training is designed to prepare students to successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Colorado Christian University provides Bachelor of Science and Associate degrees in nursing. The on line pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in nursing program is designed for adult learners. The course is comprised of theoretical training in nursing as well as laboratory, simulation and clinical instruction. Graduates from the program will be well-equipped to work in a variety of health care settings. Students have the option of taking their training either through on line or classroom instruction. Prospective applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Grade point average in the biological sciences should be 2.5 or higher. Candidates must also take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) examination prior to being admitted into the program.
