Online Radiology Tech Degrees

The job outlook for radiologic technologists and technicians is above average through 2018, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projections. The Bureau expects the number of jobs in this field to increase by about 17 percent. With a median annual salary of $52,210, this field is fairly lucrative for graduates with bachelor's or associate degree. Some radiography schools now offer online degree programs in this field.

    Clarion University of Pennsylvania

    • Clarion University in Pennsylvania also offers online courses in the field of medical imaging. The university offers a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in the field of radiologic technology. The school offers this program as a degree completion program for those with some college education who have yet to obtain a bachelor's degree. Clarion allows students to transfer up to 90 credits to count toward their 120 credit degree program. The university allows students to complete their degree program quickly by offering courses during six different academic sessions each year.

    Midwestern State University

    • Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, offers a vast array of online degree programs in radiologic science. Midwestern offers degrees at the associate, bachelor's and master's degree levels. The associate and bachelor's degree programs require no on-campus coursework, while the master's degree requires a minimal amount. The associate degree requires 72 credit hours for completion, the bachelor's requires 130 hours and the master's degree program requires 36 to 39 hours depending on the area of concentration. Midwestern offers concentrations in the areas of radiological assisting, radiological education and radiological administration.
