According to the school's website, the minimum admission requirements for Rutgers Law School include:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Satisfactory scores on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
- Applicants must also submit a completed application, personal statement, resume, and letters of recommendation.
The school does not make any exceptions to these requirements, and does not accept the GED test as a substitute for a high school diploma or its equivalent.
