This San Diego school is designed to be an alternative to traditional law schools, and is geared toward working professionals. Graduates of Western Sierra meet legal guidelines for taking the California Bar Exam, and are conferred a degree of Juris Doctor. The school doesn't emphasize any single area of law. Instead, it offers both introductory and advanced courses in every major legal area. Western Sierra welcomes students who already have an associate's or bachelor's degree and have taken the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
