While there are many online components to law school education, such as online courses, supplemental materials, and some hybrid programs, you
cannot currently get a Juris Doctor (JD) degree entirely online from a fully accredited law school in the United States. The American Bar Association (ABA), which accredits law schools, requires significant in-person interaction for clinical experiences, legal writing courses, and other aspects of legal education. Therefore, a completely online JD program from an ABA-accredited institution does not exist.
There are some online *LLM* (Master of Laws) programs available, but these are graduate degrees and require a pre-existing JD. They're also often focused on a specialized area of law.
