Laura Ingalls attended schools in Walnut Grove, MN, Burr Oak, IA, Winoka (spelled Winona in the books), MN, Sleepy Eye, MN, and Keystone, SD. Most notably, she attended the schoolhouse in Walnut Grove and was taught by Miss Eliza Jane Wilder, her mother, Caroline Quiner Ingalls.
