Auburn University accepts applications from students who have earned a General Educational Development (GED) certificate. To be considered for admission, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and must submit official transcripts from all high schools and colleges attended. In addition, applicants must submit scores from the GED Reasoning Test. The minimum required scores are:
- Reasoning Through Language Arts: 155
- Mathematical Reasoning: 145
- Social Studies: 145
- Science: 140
Applicants who meet the minimum GPA and test score requirements will be reviewed for admission on a competitive basis. Additional factors that may be considered include class rank, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and personal statements.
