Gather the materials you'll need to fill out the application. UC Riverside requires all freshman and sophomore applicants to include SAT and ACT scores and their high school transcripts. You can also choose to include your parents' annual income, your California student ID number or ELC ID Number.
Open your Internet browser and vist http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/how-to-apply/apply-online/index.html. Click on "Access Your Application." If you don't already have a UC account, click on "Create New Account" and enter a username and password. To work on your application in the future, you will return to this page and log in.
Fill out the application with your identifying details. It will also ask you to provide a list of any extracurricular activities, work experience, awards or community service.
Write your personal statement, and either copy and paste or upload it to the application. You must respond to both the freshman prompt and the general prompt, both listed on the application. Both statements must total no more than 1000 words.
Check over your application carefully, then click "submit." The UC Riverside application fee is $60 and you can pay online via credit card or be billed later.
Submit any remaining SAT or ACT scores via the test agency, and request your high school to forward your transcripts to UC Riverside. These should be sent by late December.
