The required criteria for admission at Georgia Perimeter College are the Secondary School GPA and Record, and the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), whereas the only recommended criteria for admission at the school are the admission test scores.
The types of admission credits accepted are: Dual Credit, Life Experience and Advanced Placement (AP).
High school juniors and seniors can apply for dual enrollment admissions. To be admitted to the dual enrollment program, you must be a high school junior or senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in core classes on a 4.0 scale, meet the minimum SAT I score of 970 combined critical reading and math (or a minimum ACT composite score of 20, combined English and math), meet the minimum SAT Critical Reading 480 and Math 440 (or a minimum ACT English 20 and Math 18).
To enroll in honors courses, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
-- a high school GPA of 3.5 in core classes or a combined SAT I score of 1200 or higher (critical reading and math); or
-- a critical reading SAT l score of 650 or higher, or a Math SAT 1 score of 620 or higher; or
-- an ACT composite score of 26, or an ACT English score of 29 or higher; or
-- an ACT math score of 27 or higher, or be a National Merit Semi-Finalist, Finalist or Scholar.
The Georgia Perimeter College also requires an application fee of $20, a $20 out-of-state application fee, or a $20 online application fee. Submit all the required supporting documents (all transcripts and test scores must be official) and the application by the due date of the anticipated term of enrollment to the Office of Admission of the Georgia Perimeter College at:
