How to Figure Out My Grade Point Average With Percentages

A GPA, or grade point average, is required when applying for US universities. Some schools, especially those that are foreign, do not directly give their students GPA values. Therefore, the students must calculate their own GPAs to report to universities. A GPA is a good measure of a student's academic work, as it takes into consideration the credit hours involved in the coursework. Furthermore, it is a numerical representation of the A -- F grading scale that most US schools use.
