Schools of Fashion Design in Georgia

Georgia's entertainment industry has grown steadily since the formation of the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office in 1973. In 2009, more than 700 television and film projects were set in Georgia, including the Oscar-winning movie "The Blind Side," according to the Department of Economic Development. Georgia's fashion design schools train students to create costumes worn by performers working on these projects. Students not only learn to make clothes, they learn the business aspect of fashion.
