• Fanshawe offers 110 different programs in which you can obtain a certificate, diploma, degree or a degree/diploma combination. The London campus offers accommodation for up to 800 students with sports and fitness facilities on site. They offer a large amount of student necessities on campus such as a student center, restaurants, library, convenience store, photo lab, print shop, pharmacy, bookstore and a pub. The fashion design program is three years of schooling with an advanced diploma upon graduation. The emphasis of this program focuses on design analysis, apparel manufacturing and design communication and marketing. The skills you will learn include fashion illustration, design using current computer applications, pattern making, draping and garment construction.

Coco Fashion Design Center

• This institution is unlike any other fashion design school you will ever encounter. The Coco Fashion Design Center has developed programs with practical application and intensive training to help students in their chosen career quicker than other colleges. Established in 2004, the school obtained private career college status the following year. Here, you will learn from professionals already participating within the fashion industry to gain a working knowledge of current trends and technology. Students of this college can earn a certificate, diploma or continue their education within the duration of one year. Part-time and full-time courses are available throughout the year with financial aid available.

RCC Institute of Technology

• This school offers courses in Fashion Design as well as Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. The design program is an intensive 18-month course that will prepare you for a career in designing and creating fashion. During the program, you will learn about the development and construction of apparel, the fundamentals of design and using textiles. The classes, taught by people currently employed in the industry, will give you real-world insight while exposing you to current trends. During your education, you will produce several design projects using industry-standard computer applications and machines. These projects will begin to develop your professional portfolio for entering the job market.
