Mount Wachusett Community College offers more than 40 different associate degree and certificate programs with both day and evening courses. The main campus is in Gardner, Massachusetts, with additional campuses in Leominster and Devens. A variety of courses and programs are online as well. The school's "3 plus one" program allows students to earn an associate degree, remain at the college for an additional year and earn up to 30 credits, and then transfer to a participating college and earn a bachelor's degree in as little as one additional year.
Mount Wachusett Community College has been a pioneer in using renewable energy sources. Powered by a combination of biomass, solar and wind energy, the college has developed several academic courses that apply principals of their own renewable energy and conservation techniques and conduct research on campus.

Quinsigamond Community College offers more than 70 different associate degrees and certificates. The campus is in Worcester, the second largest city in Massachusetts. Programs of study include major academic areas such as business, engineering and technology, human services, health care, liberal arts and general studies. Over 100 courses are available online, with several programs offering 100 percent of their courses online. The QCC library contains more than 45,000 items including over 2,500 videos, and is a member of several library exchanges. The QCC learning center, which provides free tutoring in 14 different disciplines, is open six days a week. Intercollegiate athletics at QCC include men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball. There is a variety of intramural sports in addition to karate, yoga, and aerobics classes in the QCC athletic center. QCC has accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Located in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood adjacent to the Bunker Hill monument, Bunker Hill Community College is among the largest in Massachusetts, enrolling more than 11,000 students. The school offers more than 68 associate degree and certificate programs. There is a 48,000 square foot health and wellness center. BHCC sponsors six intercollegiate sports for men and women including soccer, basketball, baseball and softball, and a variety of intramural programs. There are more than 30 student clubs and organizations as well. The campus has convenient access via the orange line subway. The library contains 74,000 items in its collection and has access to more than 30,000 electronic resources such as journals, magazines and books. BHCC is a member of several library exchanges, providing access to various networks of library collections.
