Clemson University's undergraduate degree program in communication studies is completed through the school's college of architecture, arts and humanities. Students in the program's Media and Mass Communication focus area study the use, process and effects of mediated communication throughout history and today. The program is grounded in an analysis of the breadth and depth of communication theory. Michigan State's College of Communciation Arts and Science bachelors' degree program in Media and Communication Technology offers students a choice of two concentrations. Both the Media Management and Research major and the Information and Communication Technologies major are grounded in a core curriculum of communication principals and the historical development of media and the political and economic factors that manipulate it. Clark University's Bachelor of Science degree program in communication and culture emphasizes the role of communication and media in culture. Historical and current topics related to the history of communication are a key part of the programs core curriculum.
