Berklee College of Music is one of the country's best music schools, but also has a renowned music business program. The bachelor's in music business and management exposes students to the rigors of the industry—from the legal and financial, to the artistic and ethical—through one of its three tracks: music products, corporate management and music entrepreneurship. The degree is earned with the completion of a capstone project, often in the form of a portfolio or interactive endeavor, such as an internship. Some of the program's courses include music law, principles of music business, ethics, music publishing, product development, concert promotion and venue management and business start-ups.
