Maritime Universities in the UK

Given the United Kingdom's long-standing association with the sea and historical reputation as a naval power, it is no surprise that several universities in the U.K. continue to offer maritime courses. Maritime universities support the maritime industry within the U.K. by offering training and opportunities for research connected to fields such as shipping and oil refinery, as well as helping to prepare students interested in a career based at sea.
