List of Engineering Universities in Germany

Engineers use math and science to solve technical problems. The field is divided among a range of specialties, including electrical, mechanical, civil, telecommunications and aeronautical. Engineers generally need at least an undergraduate degree, and many German engineering students undergo an internship to gain work experience before seeking a full-time job. Machine Design, a website by and for engineers, says that IT, automation and mechanical engineering are the most popular fields in German engineering.
