This degree differs from other forensic chemistry degrees in that the curriculum concentrates much more on core chemistry and organic chemistry as well as mathematics and computer science. Also, students who complete core requirements, math up to differential equations, two advanced chemistry and two advanced electives graduate with a American Chemical Society certification.
