    Texas State Technical College Marshall

    • Originally known as the James Connally Technical Institute, Texas State Technical College was predicted to become "the most sophisticated technical-vocational institute in the country" by former Gov. John Connally. Due to the increasing demand for technical education, TSTC opened five extensions including the one in Marshall, which was established in 1991.

      TSTC Marshall is about a 30-minute drive from Longview. The extension's main objective is to be recognized as an institution providing excellent technical teaching and learning. The curriculum of TSTC Marshall is designed to let the students immediately secure employment in respective technical fields.
