Christian Minority Engineering Colleges

For some engineering students, living in a secular environment without much contact from religion is an important priority. If this sounds like you, perhaps you've tried to figure out which engineering colleges are "secular majority," which is to say, a place where you're not likely to encounter many Christians.
  1. Harvey Mudd College

    • This Claremont-based college is one of the most secular institutions you're likely to find, with very few students identified as members of any particular religion, and not many churches in the area. Instead, the focus is mainly on academics and campus life.

    Massachusetts Institute of Technology

    • The most famous engineering school is also one of the more secular academic institutions in Massachusetts. Although there are some religion societies and clubs, MIT has a reputation for being all business when it comes to science and engineering.

    Colorado School of Mines

    • Located in Golden, Colorado, the Colorado School of Mines encourages its students to put their studies first. Students can get a secular, first-rate education with degrees in such fields as applied science and mathematics, geoscience, and engineering.
