South Carolina's Greenville Technical College, also known as Greenville Tech, opened in 1962, and now has four campuses. It offers more than 130 programs of study, including engineering, industrial technologies, public service, nursing and business. All new students must attend a new student orientation before they can sign up for classes, except for students enrolled in non-degree programs for career development, students in post-RN training programs and high school students taking early college classes. During orientation, students receive a customized packet of information, including their placement test score and a curriculum sheet for their area of study. They then tour the campus and begin registering for classes. Greenville Tech advises students to attend orientation as soon as possible, to ensure the greatest selection of classes. Go to the Greenville Tech website after you receive your letter of acceptance from the college.

Click on the "GTC4me" link. You will be prompted to enter your user name. If you do not know your user name, click on the "If you don't know your username" link.

Type in the requested information, then click "Submit." Your user name will appear on the screen.

Type in your user name and password to log in. Your password initially will be the last six digits of your Social Security Number. As soon as you log in, the system will prompt you to change your password.

Click on "Register for New Student Orientation" in the "How To" box that appears in the upper center of the page. Follow the instructions on the page that opens. Type in answers to general questions about your preferences and goals, then the dates of available orientation sessions will appear. Select an orientation date and print a copy of your confirmation page for your records.
