How to Filter Wax in Sunflower Oil

The United States is an emerging leader in sunflower seed production, and it has become increasingly important to figure out the best ways to limit and remove wax in the crude oil product. Generally, sunflower oil for commercial sale has less than 80 parts per million (ppm), but crude oil has anywhere from 200 to 3500 ppm. Generally, filtering wax out of of sunflower oil requires sophisticated chemical treatment equipment.
