The Tulsa Community College system serves the nearly 400,000 residents of metro and suburban Tulsa, Oklahoma. The system offers technical and professional degrees and certificates, culminating with two-year associate's degrees and two-year transfer degrees for those who wish to continue their studies in a four-year institution.
  1. Campuses

    • Tulsa Community College meets the needs of students living across Tulsa by having four campuses, one Outreach Center and dozens of distance learning, online and interactive television courses for off-campus learners. The largest campus, Metro, is located in downtown Tulsa. Additional campuses are located in northeast, southeast and west Tulsa. The Educational Outreach Center on South Garnett Avenue is a resource for current and prospective students, offering application, financial aid and testing assistance and services, as well as a computer lab and a small number of English and English-as-a-second-language (ESL) classes on site.

    Course Offerings

    • Tulsa Community College offers dozens of programs and more than 100 courses to help students meet their career and personal goals. In addition to university transfer coursework for those working toward a four-year degree, TCC offers ESL courses, Workforce courses for those returning to work or on federal or state re-education programs and terminal degrees and certificates. Program options at TCC include child development, accounting, aviation sciences, horticulture technology, marketing, nutrition sciences and a wide array of health services programs.

    Admissions

    • The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education set the admission standards for Tulsa Community College. In adhering to those standards, TCC is eligible for state and federal funding, which helps keep the college relatively affordable for its students. The colleges as a whole has an "open-door policy", which means any prospective student is eligible for admission, regardless of past academic performance. Students may register for one semester without supplying credentials, but by the time nine hours of schoolwork are completed, each student must supply a high school diploma or transcript from other colleges attended. Some programs have specific admissions criteria, which might include previously completed classes, internships or work study.
