The Allen County Community College Iola Campus is a modern facility that is located at the northern edge of Iola. Since 1923, it has been an accredited institution of higher learning, offering two-year associate's degrees to its 2,745 enrolled students. The main Iola campus location provides one of the finest community college libraries and instructional resource centers in the state. Each facility is available to each student student enrolled at the college. Instructors and student have access to most modern and effective teaching aids and equipment available today.
Labette Community College is located in Parsons, Kansas and provides standard education courses for transfer students, industry-specific areas of study and generalized education programs. Associate's degrees in arts, science, applied sciences and general studies can be earned. Student athletes attending LCC can take advantage of the school's sports program and join teams such as baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling, volleyball and softball. Labette Community College is comprised of mostly commuter students, eliminating a need for on-campus housing. Labette does, however, work with students to find apartment rentals and housing accommodations within the city of Parsons.
Located it the city of Chanute, Kansas, the Neosho County Community College is a two-year institution of learning that has been providing accredited higher learning for its students since 1936. Currently a total of 21 different associate's degree programs in a variety of focus areas are offered to its students. Ninety-six percent of the instructors and faculty of this Kansas community college hold a master's degree or higher. Half of the student body is considered to be of full-time status, and seventy-five percent of the student population are residents of Kansas; the rest are from out of state. For the convenience of each student, online courses are offered for certain degree programs and classes.
The Coffeyville Community College of Coffeyville, Kansas is one of two community colleges of Montgomery County in Southeastern Kansas. CCC and was founded in 1923 and has since been offering a convenient form of higher education for the state of Kansas and beyond. A multitude of academic support services such as undergraduate evening or early morning classes, learning centers, remedial instruction, reduced course load programs, study skills assistance and tutoring programs are available to assist students. The school is composed of approximately 2,035 undergrads, eighty-one percent being in-state students.
