The School of Architecture and Allied Arts at the University of Oregon consists of the departments of architecture, art, art history, landscape architecture, planning, public policy and management. Other programs include arts and administration, digital arts, historic preservation, interior architecture, and product design. Students also may choose a graduate certificate program such as ecological design, nonprofit management, museum studies or technical teaching in architecture. More than 1,600 students were majoring in programs in the school as of January 2011, while another 2,000 were taking classes and studio courses in the school at locations in Eugene and Portland.
Students in the College of Art and Architecture at the University of Idaho in Moscow can earn degrees in architecture (master's and bachelor's), art, art education, studio art, interior design, landscape architecture and virtual technology and design. The architecture and interior design programs offer study-abroad opportunities to London and Rome. The virtual technology and design program gives students the chance to learn 3D modeling, animation and world-building skills.
Florida International University's College of Architecture and The Arts has seven academic departments: architecture, art and art history, communication arts, interior design, landscape architecture, music and theater. Several undergraduate and master's degrees are available, including Undergraduate Master of Architecture and Master of Architecture; Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art; Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art with concentration in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, digital art, or interdisciplinary art; Bachelor of Arts in Art History. FIU is located in Miami.
The School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, offers undergraduate degrees in architecture; art and architectural history; historic preservation; and visual arts studies. As of January 2011, the school sponsored two study-abroad programs, a semester program for all majors in Florence, Italy and a summer session for architecture majors in Prague, Czech Republic, and Vienna, Austria. The school also offers graduate programs in architecture and historic preservation, with study-abroad opportunities in New Delhi, India; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Beijing, China; and Istanbul, Turkey.
