Which of the Nigerian Universities Offers Chemical Engineering?

The Federal and State governments of Nigeria operate 43 colleges and universities according to the U.S. diplomatic mission to Nigeria. Chemical Engineering is the field of engineering that focuses on applying physical and life sciences such as chemistry, physics and ecology to the processes of converting natural materials or chemicals. Currently, the University of Benin offers a diploma in Chemical Engineering that can be finished with two years of part-time study under the guidance of the engineering faculty.

    Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife

    • The Department of Chemical Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife offers a full variety of courses for students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Currently, the University of Uyo operates out of two temporary campuses and its permanent site will be approximately 4.5 kilometers from the city center.
