If accepted, you'll study in the exercise and sports science department. However, after the first year, the application process starts anew as you are reviewed to see if you will continue. You'll learn to prevent, evaluate, manage, care for and rehabilitate sports-related injuries, preparing you for the Board of Certification exam that allows you to become a certified athletic trainer.
