The AMU School of Arts and Humanities offers certificates, associate degrees, bachelor and master's degrees in several fields. Fields of study in the Arts and Humanities school include social and natural sciences, as well as general fields of humanities. Some of the certificates include air warfare, American History, American Revolution studies, as well as ancient and classical history. Associate, bachelor and master's degrees require the completion of more courses, in subjects such as communication, English, history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, religion and strategic leadership.
AMU's School of Business teaches theories and practical knowledge about business and financing, as well as leadership and management. The school also concentrates on teaching students about entrepreneurship and information technology management. Degrees offered include associate degrees in accounting and business administration, as well as bachelor and Master's degrees in business management and marketing.
The School of Business and Management also offers a wider variety of studies and degrees that include courses in hospitality management, athletic administration and human resources as well as military-related courses, such as military leadership studies and transportation and logistics.
According to the AMU website, the School of Public Safety and Health offers several degrees that are the flagship programs of the university. These include degrees in criminal justice, homeland security and emergency and disaster management. Additional degrees include programs in public health and legal studies. Like other colleges in AMU, the School of Public Safety and Health has programs that grant certificates, associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and Master's degrees. Some of the programs of study include counterterrorism studies, fire science, emergency and disaster management, legal studies, security management and weapons of mass destruction preparedness.
The School of Science and Technology offers courses in several scientifically related fields, such as information technology, forensics, environmental studies and space studies. Some of their courses include computer applications, cyber crime, digital forensics, web applications, environmental policy and management, hazardous waste management, information systems security, information technology and space studies.
