Engineering classes make up a large part of the curriculum at Amity University. These classes cover a broad range of disciplines and include nanotechnology, telecommunications, mechanical and automation engineering, solar and alternate energy, food technology, nuclear science and technology, aerospace engineering, civil engineering, computer science, electronics and information technology. These classes all fall within the engineering major and students can take them in the School of Engineering and Technology.
Arts classes complement a number of the engineering classes at Amity and help to fill out a well-rounded education. Classes in the arts include a number of courses in language, including honors English literature, fine arts in animation, fashion technology and fashion design. Languages available at Amity University include French, German and Spanish. The majors in the arts include performing arts, fine arts, fashion technology and architecture and planning.
Management classes in the business sector at Amity University include a variety of disciplines and areas of study, most notably tourism administration, marketing and sales, international business, family business management, finance and accounting, actuarial science, hotel management and hospitality classes. These classes can be complemented with communications classes, financial and investment analysis, journalism and mass communications. Some of the degrees obtained in managment include Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Management, Training and Development, Economics, Urban Management and Rural Management.
Some of the more specialized classes offered at Amity University include those classes in law, as well as a number of science classes. The science classes include pharmacy, anthropology, biotechnology, bioinformatics and computer science. Education classes are available at Amity as well, in the form of nursery teaching, elementary teaching and elementary education. Other majors at the university are in sports sciences, natural resources, insurance, social sciences, alternative energy, organic agriculture, global education and space science.
