How to Sign a Letter of Recommendation

When writing a letter of recommendation, you are called to give the reader an honest perception of the abilities, skills and potential of the subject of the letter. As such, a letter of recommendation is as formal and serious as a business letter, albeit slightly more personal, since you are writing about a person in whom you take an interest. You have a few options as to how to sign your letter, but the formatting of the signature is fairly standard across letters.
