How to Cite the UCR

The Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) is a compendium of crime statistics for the United States that is compiled and published on the Internet by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). If you use information from the UCR to write your paper, you must include the page you used in a reference list at the end of your paper. The exact format will vary, depending on whether you are using Chicago Manual of Style, American Psychological Association or Modern Language Association guidelines.
