Enter your preferences for school size and extracurricular offerings such as sports to make sure that you find the best institution for you in Minnesota.
Decide whether you wish to live on campus or commute.
Make a list of the results when finished.
Note the full cost of each institution on your list, including tuition, fees, and room and board, if living on campus.
Add about $1,000 each semester for books and various expenses and be sure to find out whether the cost of the college's meal plan is included with room and board.
Visit each of the colleges' websites and find out more about the scholarships they offer.
Narrow down your selection to seven schools or less and visit those you are most interested in. After visiting, apply to the schools you would want to attend.
