Who is the First Indian woman to get Nobel Prize?

The first Indian woman to receive a Nobel Prize was Mother Teresa. She was a Roman Catholic nun who founded the Missionaries of Charity, a religious congregation that serves the poor and destitute. Mother Teresa was born in Skopje, Yugoslavia (now North Macedonia) on August 26, 1910. She took her religious vows in 1928 and was sent to India in 1929. In 1948, she founded the Missionaries of Charity, which quickly grew into a worldwide organization with over 4,000 sisters working in over 130 countries.
