On this day, the creature brave
Unveils the season's secrets deep
Nature's way of sending a sign
During the winter's cold design
Heeding nature's message we shall be
On this day, Groundhog's Day decree
Great foresight it does bestow
Delight in this day, let our spirits glow
Although the winter lingers still
Yet spring's approach it does instill
