Who establish the first printing press in colonies?

The first printing press in the American colonies was established by Stephen Daye in 1639. Daye was a locksmith who had apprenticed with a printer in England. He came to the colonies in 1638 with a printing press and a font of type. He set up his press in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and printed the first book in the colonies, The Bay Psalm Book, in 1640.
