Review your test scores.
Locate your scores for the critical reading, mathematics and writing skills sections. Each section is scored on a 200- to 800-point scale. The writing skills section will provide you with your sub-scores for your essay, scored on a 2 to 12 scale, and your multiple choice questions, scored on a 20 to 80 scale. Your essay counts for about 30 percent of the total writing skills score. The multiple choice accounts for the final 70 percent. The total scale for this section is also between 200 and 800 like the other two sections.
Add the three scores to get your total score. For example if you scored a 510 on the mathematics section, a 560 on the critical reading section and a 490 on the writing, your total score would be a 1560.
Review your scores.
Locate the scores for the verbal and mathematics sections, both scored on a 200- to 800-point scale. Your report will also tell you the number of questions you scored correctly for each question type, the number you omitted, and the number you got wrong. It also shows you the raw score, which was calculated using 1 point for every correct question, subtracting 1/4 of a point for every question scored incorrectly, and zero points for every question omitted.
Add the two scaled scores to get your total score. For example if you scored a 520 on mathematics and a 500 on the verbal, your total score would be a 1020. Tests were only scored on a 1600-point scale at this time.
