Is a 1250 bad score on the new SATs?

A 1250 on the new SAT is above average, but not a top score. While it's a good score demonstrating a strong understanding of the tested material, it's not in the range typically considered "perfect" or among the highest percentiles. Many highly selective colleges will see many applicants with scores in this range.
