What type of calculator are you allowed to bring for the SAT test?

You're allowed to bring a four-function, scientific, or graphing calculator to the SAT. However, there are restrictions:

* No calculators with QWERTY keyboards.

* No calculators that can communicate with other devices. (This rules out many graphing calculators with data transfer capabilities.)

* No handheld computers or electronic writing pads.

It's best to check the official College Board website for the most up-to-date and complete list of permitted and prohibited calculators before your test date. They occasionally update their policies.
