What is the SAT score required to get into Florida State University?

There's no single SAT score that guarantees admission to Florida State University (FSU). Admission is holistic, considering many factors beyond just the SAT/ACT score. These factors include GPA, high school coursework rigor, extracurricular activities, essays, letters of recommendation, and more.

While FSU doesn't publish a minimum SAT score, successful applicants generally have scores significantly above the average. To get a sense of the competitive landscape, you should look at the middle 50% range of SAT scores for admitted students. This data is usually available on FSU's website (check their admissions statistics page) and varies slightly from year to year. A score within or above this range significantly increases your chances, but it's not a guarantee. A score below the range doesn't automatically disqualify you, but your other application components need to be exceptionally strong.
