What are regents exam?

Regents Exams are standardized tests used in the U.S. state of New York to assess student achievement in various high school subjects. They're administered by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Passing certain Regents Exams is often a requirement for high school graduation and sometimes for college admission. The exams cover a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to:

* Math: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Calculus

* Science: Living Environment (Biology), Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science
