    • To become a CPA in Indiana means all candidates must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree before taking the CPA examination. For the bachelor's degree candidates, you must have completed at least 24 semester hours of lower-level accounting and 24 semester hours in lower-level business courses. Those candidates with the master's degrees are required to have completed at least 24 hours of accounting and 15 hours of graduate-level accounting courses as well as business.

    • There are no requirements to be a citizen of the state or the U.S. to take the CPA exam.
