How to Prepare for the USMLE Step 3

In order to practice medicine in the United States, graduates of medicine are required to take a three-part licensing examination called the USMLE or United States Medical Examination. The USMLE evaluates your ability as a physician to utilize concepts, principles and knowledge and to demonstrate basic patient-centered skills. Step 3 is the last exam of the USMLE. It evaluates whether you are capable of applying the medical experience, knowledge and understanding of clinical and biomedical science needed to practice medicine unsupervised, stressing patient management in emergency settings. Step 3 of the USMLE guarantees that individuals who become physicians are competent and deserve to be licensed.
