How to Get the TAKS Scores for Middle Schools in Sweetwater, Texas

The Texas Education Agency oversees the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests for students. Students in grades 3 through 11 take tests in math, reading, science and writing. each year to evaluate students achievement. As of 2011, students must pass the test in the 11th grade in order to graduate, but rules on this are changing. The Texas Education Agency website offers many study guides and test-taking tips. On the site, you can also see scores for the entire state or for individual schools.

      Go online and visit the website for the Texas Education Agency. On the left side of the page, click on the Testing and Accountability link. Then click on Assessment Results. The direct link is below in the Resources section.

      Scroll down the page until you find the link for "TAKS Aggregate Level Date Results by Regon, District and Campus." Click on the link.

      Scroll down the page that opens after you click the link in Step 2. Select the year for which you want to find test results. Select the test language, either English or Spanish.

      Click on the bubble next to "Campus" under Aggregate Level.

      Click on the down arrow next to Region. Select "14-Abilene." Under District select "Sweetwater ISD." For Campus, choose "Sweetwater Midd (177902041)."

      Click on the button at the bottom of the page for "View Results" and the results for the Sweetwater Middle School appear on the next page. The results are broken down by grade.
