How to Practice for the GED

The General Educational Development (GED) exam is taken in lieu of completing the courses required to earn a high school diploma. The test is divided into five sub-tests -- reading, writing, mathematics, science and social students. Academic subjects and skills like geometry, algebra, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, economics, world history, U.S. government and life, earth and physical sciences will be on the test. You must earn a minimum of 2250 points to pass the GED test. There are many resources available to help prepare for the exam.
