PBS assists students' study at home by providing programs that will help them prepare for the GED exam. Students also have the option of ordering GED preparation books. "Keys to GED Success" is a set of exercise books researched by the GED testing service. They are recommended by the GED Testing Service in preparing students on what to anticipate during the GED exam and can be ordered through the Steck Vaughn website at steckvaughn.hmhco.com/.
If Spanish-speaking students feel that they could benefit from taking a class to prepare for the GED exam, there are local resources that will help them find and enroll in classes. Students can visit the website or call the toll-free number 800-828-8133 for assistance in finding classes. Local programs that assist with the GED exam will be listed in the phone book under GED, Continuing Education or Adult Education.
