Can you claim SDI if im colleting workmens compensation?

In general you cannot collect both Workers' Compensation and SDI. However, there is an exception for permanent disability SDI. An individual who is not eligible for workers compensation temporary disability payments may be able to collect permanent disability SDI beginning the day following the expiration of their final regular SDI payments.
